Brian has actively been defending
property rights since the late 1980's. His articles on property
rights and related issues have appeared in The Freeman,
Reason magazine, Kiwanis magazine, and more than a
dozen newspapers. Brian
helped defeat the Houston zoning referendum in 1993, and more
recently, he traveled to Hobbs, NM to help defeat a zoning
ordinance in 2007. He has worked with other organizations and
individuals on the local level to defend property rights.
